Slide the button and the blade shoots out the front. The blade itself is a stiletto style with a double faux edge, sharp on one side.  The blade is 217 Stainless Steel. The blade has a safety.  Push the button into a surface and the safety springs the blade. It looks like picture 5.  Pull on the blade and it will lock into place and ready to go. End of the knife is a glass breaker.  Pocket clip, blade down, on the back of the knife.
